The atelier
Three generations on the same street.
My grandfather opened the shop in 1971 with two display cases and a velvet stool. The stool is still here.
I took over in 2009 after eight years at a Mumbai bourse. We kept what mattered — the karigars, the loose-stone vault, the long appointments — and quietly let the rest go.
Most of our work is bridal. Some of it is the second ring a husband buys his wife twenty years later. Both deserve the same hour.
